Summer Camping

Etching wood summer camping will be open for July and August. Bring your tents or motorhomes or stay in our huge bell tent. We only have a small number of campers to avoid crowds and keep it peaceful which also makes it ideal for groups.

Prices: £25 per pitch per night for 2 people + £5 per extra person
There is a flushing toilet and a shower plus washing up facilities and a large canopy where you can sit and relax, cook, eat etc whether rain or shine. You will be staying on our smallholding with various animals for neighbours. The field is surrounded by trees but only a short walk from a pub which serves very nice food and drink.
Local takeaways can also be delivered to the gate from nearby Uckfield, if you need suggestions please just ask!

10 Pitches– 3 acre secluded grass field/woodland camping area on
a working farm.
We have various animals including alpacas and 3 friendly sheep.
Homegrown Produce: Enjoy fresh eggs from free-ranging chickens plus vegetables and fruits when available.
There is a communal firepit to enjoy in the evening.
BBQ’s are allowed, off the ground.
Due to our small holding comprising of a multitude of animals, Dogs are unfortunately unable to attend.
Local Pub with food 10 minutes walk – The hare and Hounds.
Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, Etching wood provides a perfect blend of nature and comfort for a memorable stay.

Great place to stay, really friendly owners.
The small farm on site is a great hit with the kids, the site is fantastic a real back to nature setting which is brilliant.
The pitches are fantastic with plenty of room around you.
The toilet & shower is new & always clean.
There is running drinking water as well.
We will definitely be returning here & I would recommend to anyone that likes a quiet break away

This is such a special spot, the perfect place to spend a summer’s day and evening in beautifully peaceful surroundings.
The pitches are well spaced and the shower is a great new addition. Joe and Helen could not be more helpful and the resident animals provide fantastic entertainment for kids and adults alike!
